Sometimes a room simply needs a new chapter. In this Destin, Florida home, what was once an office has been reimagined into a joyful garden room, refreshed for a new season and filled with color, pattern, and sunshine.

Here's where we started:

Our client is a flower and garden enthusiast, so we leaned into that love of blooms with a bold, floral wallpaper that instantly brings the space to life. Echoed in the accent pillows, the pattern became the heart of the design — playful, layered, and full of joy.

Because this home is set along the coast, we added subtle nods to Destin’s breezy surroundings with rattan accents and relaxed textures. We also repurposed beloved furniture from elsewhere in the home, giving the design both history and heart. These pieces, paired with fresh pattern and color, create a space that feels personal, welcoming, and alive with energy.

The result is a sun-drenched retreat that feels just like a garden in bloom. It’s a room meant for lingering over a book, catching up with a friend, or simply soaking in the Florida light — a space that celebrates joy in its most colorful, everyday form.
